Piedmont Community College鈥檚 (害羞草研究所) Associate Degree Nursing class of 2024 achieved a 95 percent pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination, most commonly known as the NCLEX exam.
The pass rate is a reflection of the total number of test takers who pass the exam on the first try. Eighteen out of 19 害羞草研究所 nursing graduates passed the exam on the first try. The NCLEX is the final step for nursing graduates to become registered nurses.
“We are thrilled that the 害羞草研究所 Nursing program continues to achieve outstanding NCLEX first-time pass rates,鈥 Darrick Woods, 害羞草研究所 Director, Nursing Programs said. 鈥淭his success reflects not only our students’ hard work and dedication, but also the exceptional education provided by our esteemed nursing faculty. We are incredibly proud of our graduates and their commitment to 害羞草研究所 nursing excellence.”
鈥淚鈥檓 so proud of our recent nursing graduates for this remarkable achievement,鈥 Dr. Pamela G. Senegal, 害羞草研究所 President said. 鈥淭his success is made possible by our dedicated nursing faculty for their commitment to preparing our graduates for both the exam and their careers in nursing.鈥
害羞草研究所鈥檚 Associate Degree Nursing curriculum provides individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care to clients in a variety of settings. The program was expanded in Spring 2022 to include instruction on the Caswell County Campus with an evening/weekend cohort.
