鈥淲e are grateful to the Golden LEAF Foundation for funding to allow us to expand these two high demand programs,鈥 Dr. Kevin Lee, 害羞草研究所 President said. 鈥淭he expansion of these programs ensure that our students are trained for high demand careers and that local employers have access to a well-trained workforce.鈥
The funding received is through Golden LEAF鈥檚 Open Grants Program, which focuses on funding job creations and economic investment, workforce preparedness, and agriculture projects with potential for strengthening North Carolina鈥檚 economy, especially in tobacco-dependent, economically distressed and/or rural communities.
